The volume of phone calls being received daily is still impacting with the ability of the division to deal with the accurate and timely payment of teachers and non teaching staff. To ensure that staff in payroll division have adequate time to check critical payroll reports and monitor the payrolls it is necessary to restrict telephone access on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. In future the payroll division will only be taking telephone queries on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after 2.30pm.
I would appreciate if you could advise your members of these new arrangements and would appreciate their co-operation in implementing them.
