1916 Bursary Fund Open for Applications

Maynooth University, Dublin City University, Athlone Institute of Technology and Dundalk Institute of Technology are pleased to announce the opening of the 1916 Bursary Fund.

40 bursaries are available to full or part-time, first year undergraduate students who are significantly under-represented in higher education due to socio-economic disadvantage. The bursaries are in the amount of €5,000 for each year of an undergraduate programme.

The Bursary Fund commemorates the centenary of 1916 and underlines the Government’s commitment to the equality of opportunity envisaged by the 1916 signatories.

We would appreciate if you could spread the word about these bursaries to your networks and contacts. The closing date for application is Friday, 16 February 2018.
