ACCS CONVENTION 2025 – 26th, 27th & 28th of March 2025
The Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan.
In accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of ACCS, copies of the Draft Agenda, Nominations for President of ACCS 2025/2026 and Motions for Convention 2025 are attached. Amendments to these Motions must be returned to ACCS by the 26th of February 2025.
CONVENTION SCHEDULE: ACCS advises that registration for Convention 2025 will commence from 1.45 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday the 26th of March 2025. Please note the Convention will commence at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday the 26th of March 2025 and will conclude on Friday the 28th of March at 11.45 a.m.
REGISTERING OF ACCS DELEGATES ON SCHOOL ONLINE PORTAL:
It would be appreciated if Boards would now notify ACCS of the names of their delegates in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of ACCS. Every member school shall have three accredited delegates and only delegates in attendance may vote. It is the recommendation of the ACCS Executive that one of the accredited delegates be the Chairperson of the Board of Management.
To access the school portal, log on to https://www.accscloud.net. You will require your Username (last 4 digits of the main school phone number), password and a maths captcha to login. If you require assistance with this process or your password please call ACCS Head Office staff on 01 4601150.
CONVENTION FEE: The Executive has decided that a fee of €300.00 per school would be appropriate to cover the cost of Convention only. All other costs will be at the delegates' own expense. Schools will be invoiced for the convention fee after the event.
ACCOMMODATION: As in former years, delegates will be responsible for securing their own accommodation and meals. All accommodation bookings must be made ONLINE – the hotel will not accept reservations via telephone or email. Accommodation will be assigned by the Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club on a first-come first-served basis. Further information regarding the booking process and delegate accommodation package is attached. Please note: The online promotional code “ACCS” will go live on Friday, February 7th at 9am, enabling delegates to book their accommodation packages online starting that day. Delegates are advised to book their hotel accommodation immediately and, in any case, not later than Friday 7th of March 2025.
GOLF OUTING: The ACCS annual golf outing for the Paddy Hickey Memorial Trophy has been arranged on Wednesday the 26th of March 2025 - see separate documentation attached.
