Special Leave Arrangements

All secretarial and maintenance staff, are entitled to statutory special leave arising from particular personal or family circumstances.

 These entitlements include:

  • Special leave with pay which may be allowed to an officer in the event of the death of a relative.

  • Marriage Leave

  • Force Majeure Leave

  • Maternity Leave

  • Adoptive Leave

  • Parental Leave

Such entitlements should be listed in contracts of employment. Standard templates for such contracts incorporating these entitlements are available on the ACCS web-site in (Caretakers Contract) and in Clerical Officer Conditions of Service).
